The Broward Association for Marriage and Family Therapy
is South Florida’s premier association of marriage and
family therapists. BAMFT provides MFTs and their
professional colleagues the opportunity to network,
collaborate, and fulfill Florida’s continuing education
requirements for licensure.
The Broward Association for Marriage and Family Therapy
is a chapter of the Florida Association for Marriage and
Family Therapy which is a Division of the American
Association for Marriage and Family Therapy.
Through the Florida Association
for Marriage and Family Therapy (www.famft.org),
BAMFT advances the interests of the profession and its
members, locally and throughout Florida.

interested professionals) must purchase a workshop
subscription for a nominal fee.
Participants may also choose to pay for individual
workshops. Registration fees for individual workshops
and conferences may vary.

Our Mission
BAMFT
serves as a resource for South Florida’s marriage and family
therapists and their professional colleagues. Providing
opportunities to network and collaborate, BAMFT is a forum
for the professional development and continuing education of
its members through clinical dialogue and workshops offering
Continuing Education Units.

Florida Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (FAMFT)
FAMFT 2009 Elections Nominations
FAMFT is soliciting nominations for three 2009 board
positions: Treasurer (3 years) and Board Member (3
Years). These must be Clinical Members of AAMFT. FAMFT
is also soliciting nominations for the Board position
for Student/Associate Representative (2 years). This
position must be a student or associate member of AAMFT.
FAMFT is seeking two members for the Elections
Committee. Please send any nominations to Julie Balsuto
at jbasulto@bellsouth.net. Nominations should include
the nominee’s name, contact information, and position
nominated for on the board. Members may nominate
themselves. The deadline for nominations is August 15.
